We're so happy to welcome Lynn to the VPUY family. She joins our team with an advanced knowledge and years of teaching and study under her belt. Lynn will be supporting our team as a sub. Her and her husband split their time between Ventura in the winter and Main in the summer. We feel lucky to get to share her with you all for half the year. Get to know more about Lynn.

Tell us about the evolution of your yoga practice:
I began practicing Iyengar yoga and fell in love with the strength and discipline. I completed two 200 he yoga teacher trainings in 2009 and 2010, vinyasa/ asthanga based and alignment based. I have certifications in restorative/ pranayama/yoga for seniors/anatomy and have taken numerous workshops with renowned instructors. I alternate my own daily practice with vinyasa, yin, meditation, pranayama and restorative .
What’s one thing you wish you could tell yourself when you began your yoga practice:
Take it at my own pace, respect the messages from my body and focus purely on the breath.
Why do you teach yoga:
I teach in order to share my experience of the gifts of wisdom, serenity and sense of well being that yoga offers.
How long have you taught: I have been teaching for 12 years.
If you could have lunch with any inspiration individual (dead or alive) who and why:
After reading her book , Revolution of the Soul, I thought I would like to have lunch with the yogini and activist, Seane Corn. She is a truth seeker, as am I. She dedicates herself to creating spiritual change in the world and her work inspires me to continue this journey.
