Our retreat officially begins the evening of Sept. 14th, 2023 with a welcome dinner and ends the morning of
Sept. 18th with breakfast.

Between signup and our retreat, we’ll host two mandatory info sessions over Zoom. You are required to attend one of these meetings in order to best relay all vital information to
you. If you’re unable to join either of these dates please send us an email to coordinate other options.

These sessions help answer the majority of questions that arise in the planning process and are an opportunity for attendees to meet each other. Again, if you’re unable to make either session, please send us an email so we can find another way to coordinate this
information for you.

Travel Logistics
Our retreat begins at 6pm on Thursday, September 14th and ends at 10am on Monday, September 18th.

Check-in can begin as early as 3 pm on Thursday. If your flight arrives early or you arrive early at Harriman State Park we can coordinate to store your bags in our Host rooms until check-ins for individual rooms begin. Check-out is required by 11 am.
Flights & Transportation
For getting to Island Park and the Greater Yellowstone area in the most streamlined way possible,
the best choice is Idaho Falls Airport (IDA). We can help to coordinate shuttle transport (at attendees'
costs) from IDA to Harriman State Park.
Alternatively, if you want to experience a bit of a scenic road trip or want some better options (cheaper,
non-stop flights), the winner is Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
Transportation will need to be coordinated by the attendee; rental car. Fees will be the responsibility of
individual or coordinated shared shuttles.
We ask that you confirm your airfare with us via this form, no later than 3 weeks prior to the retreat. If you’re unable to find flights, let us know!
Other Items to Plan For
We will be in a very small town with simple
conveniences, the closest city center/grocery store is 40 minutes away. Please plan accordingly for the creature comforts you will need. We will spend 100% of our time on the incredible 16,000-acre property at Harriman State Park.
Q: Will I need cash on site?

A: We always love to tip the hard-working crews we work with at our retreats. For Idaho, this includes:

Horseback riding tip suggestions $5-15

Chef Yogi/Gregory $20-40

Shuttle $5-10 each way
Q: What Amenities are onsite at Harriman?
​
A: Our rooms include AC/Heating, comfortable beds with all linens included, simple space with a few hangers to hang clothing, ensuite bathroom with shower/bathtubs.
All retreat guests will be staying in the Scovel Center.
Our dining hall is at the center of this facility. All meals will be served here.
The center of our guest facility has an outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs to enjoy the beautiful natural setting that surrounds us.

Yoga + workshops will be a 5 min walk to the center of historic Harriman State Park. Our yoga facility has breathtaking sunrise views which we highly recommend setting your alarms to catch.
Q: What should I pack?
​
A: We will be at the end of the warm summer months for Eastern Idaho. We can anticipate big shifts in weather sometimes from hour to hour. Please plan for both sunny days as well cool fall days.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION | Initiated by Participant
-
​If a participant decides to cancel more than 90 days prior to the retreat start date, any payments made to Venture Well will be refunded, minus the non-refundable deposit and any associated processing fees. Cancellations made 90 days or less, but more than 45 days prior, to the retreat start date can be applied to a future Venture Well retreat. Cancellations made within 45 days of the Venture Well retreat start date are forfeited.

​In the extreme event that Venture Well cancels a retreat, participants are given the option to use their payments to date as credit toward a future retreat, or be given a refund in full, minus any processing fees. Any credits applied must be redeemed within 2 calendar years of cancellation, to the date of cancellation announcement (no refunds can be extended at a later date). Venture Well is not responsible for additional costs accrued - for instance, airfare and transportation - it is recommended that retreat participants purchase travel insurance.

DELAYS + OTHER UNFORESEEN CONDITIONS

​It is the responsibility of the participant to schedule air travel and plan accordingly to arrive on time. In the case of arriving late, leaving early, travel delays or cancellations of any kind, or illness, there are no refunds or discounts. In the case of missed or delayed air travel to Costa Rica, it is the responsibility of the participant to arrange transportation from the airport to the venue if it is outside of the designated shuttle times.
