Sacred Elements of Yoga & the Drum

In this workshop River shares  with us the Sacred Elements of his Native Drum; Earth, Water, Fire and Air and how the elements are interwoven in our own human bodies through a deeply rich breath-centered Yoga Practice that will enrich us with vital Energy.  End this sacred practice with the Native sound healing drumming along with River's songs resonating with ancient spirit and the elemental forces of nature.

This workshop is for all ages, cultures, and levels of Yoga and no drum knowledge is necessary.  River will be your guide. River is a Two Spirit Choctaw + Mexican Native with a passion for creative Healing Arts and Spiritual Wellness.  Inspired by Elders and infinity for Nature, River has been a steward of local Hot Springs along the Kern River, involved in Indigenous Cultural Practices such as Danza Azteca + Drum & Flute+Poi Staff.  River is a dedicated Yogi of 10 years and teaches a class coined 'River Flow Yoga' with us here at Ventura Pop Up Yoga but he is also trained in Kundalini and teaches Kundalini with Gong at our Co-Op Partner Studio The Pharm.
