At the root of our anatomy sits the Psoas (pronounced: SO as) Muscle. The Psoas plays a huge role in the health of our body and can be the source of a lot of the tension and pain we carry around with us.

About the event

Sharing this practice during these times of great uncertainty has been a blessing that has allowed me to support many.  Now I'd like to extend that support even further.  All proceeds raised for this practice will go to benfit Yoga Foster.  A mindfulness program working hand in hand with Youth, Teachers, and Parents to co-create stability and balance for the generation ahead.

Psoas Release Practice:

Now more than ever, as tensions rise we will begin to witness more pain in the physical body.  We will begin to listen to the foreign language of how our body speaks to us through physical pain.

The psoas is in charge of the body's natural "fight or flight" reactions.  Over time and through life’s challenges, tensions, stressors, and traumas it begins to hold onto energy that can manifest pain…
