I have been teaching yoga for nine years and practicing for fifteen. What I originally came to the mat for was not what kept me there. I experienced an internal shift that became transformational in shaping who I am today. Yoga became a conduit for connection to myself and the world around me. It helped me navigate through the difficult times, most notably with my anxiety and PTSD. This lead me to the path I’m on now.

Presently, I am a trauma-informed yoga therapist (C-IAYT) applying individualized yoga in a mental health setting at a trauma center. I work as part of a team bringing yoga tools and resources to people suffering from trauma to help them ground, regulate their nervous system and reconnect to their true selves. Currently I am focusing on taking all that I have learned through these experiences and bringing that into the world so that people can live a life of more ease and less suffering.
