I became a yoga teacher in 2016 and luckily found VPUY that very same year. Just before that, I completed graduate research in how the breath works and affects everything in the body and mind. Since then, I have dove into the more subtle aspects of yoga including stillness,
breath techniques and meditation and how they influence fear, anxiety and mental health. I want to bring these practices to anyone that will listen because we all have stress and anxiety in our lives. Our breath is the one tool we always have to go to for healing and it is not always as simple as just taking a deep breath. Understanding and exploring is key.
